Data Analyst – Carmel, IN

This position will act as a liaison to IT for other ACES departments to ensure accurate interpretation and evaluation of user and customer requests, effective data analysis and automation, and integration of analytical applications. Advises and assists IT regarding departmental plans, requirements definition, testing and training for systems and business processes. Performs operational data analysis, technical research and develops models for various clients. Analyzes departmental business processes and works with end users and IT personnel in the management of process change. Develops expertise via departmental training in the use of automated applications and serves as the point of contact for end users on proposed process and application changes.

Fuels Trading and Operations Analyst - Carmel, IN

This position is responsible for scheduling physical natural gas transactions in support of client gas generation assets, producer services, and LDC gas supply management. Primary responsibilities include scheduling natural gas on intrastate and interstate pipelines and storage facilities for electric power generation, producer services, and LDC gas supply management.

Settlements Analyst - Carmel, IN

This position is responsible for completing ISO/RTO settlement services for the Company’s Members and Customers.

Natural Gas Trader - Carmel, IN

This position will be responsible for executing physical natural gas transactions in support of client gas generation assets. Primary responsibilities include procuring natural gas for electric power generation, scheduling natural gas, and managing natural gas imbalances.

Hourly Trader - Carmel, IN

This position will be responsible for the management of generation and native load requirements of any participating member or client. This position will be accountable for generation and load scheduling, demand side management, transmission purchases, energy transactions, market interaction, hourly sales of member’s generation or contract resources and purchasing as required.

Hourly Trader - Benson, AZ

This position will be responsible for the management of generation and native load requirements of any participating member or client. This position will be accountable for generation and load scheduling, demand side management, transmission purchases, energy transactions, market interaction, hourly sales of member’s generation or contract resources and purchasing as required.

Trader - Carmel, IN

This position will participate and support the scheduling and trading teams’ efforts regarding all aspects of the ACES customers portfolio optimization. Responsibilities will include the areas of trade strategy development, native load support, transaction execution, energy scheduling, as well as, load management and transmission purchases. The processes and procedures surrounding this environment will be reviewed, developed and supported by this position.

Intern – Carmel, IN

ACES is a nationwide energy management company that helps its owners and customers buy, sell, and manage energy more efficiently and with less risk. ACES began operations in 1999 with a focus on supporting four organizations. Today, ACES provides services to over 50 organizations consisting of electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, municipalities, public power agencies, independent power producers, renewable energy providers, industrial customers, and financial institutions. Since 1999, ACES has grown from 33 employees to over 250. This growth has presented career opportunities, new challenges, and a dynamic, energetic work environment. To be eligible for the ACES Internship Program, students must meet the following criteria.

Systems Administrator - Carmel, IN

This position is responsible for support of the ACES corporate IT infrastructure. Specifically, this position will manage installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of corporate systems, including but not limited to client and server hardware, operating systems, and application software. Additional responsibilities include support of the virtualization environment, logical security, assisting the Service Desk with support tickets, and performing other tasks assigned by IT management.
