ACES is pleased to announce that Matthew Fischesser has been promoted to Vice President and CIO. Matt has been serving as Interim CIO while we conducted an internal and external search to replace Chris Haas. There was an excellent pool of candidates, and ACES’ Senior Officers ultimately selected Matt for this role.
Matt joined ACES in 2009 as Process Control Analyst and was later promoted to Manager of Process Control, where he supported projects related to business processes, risk management, process efficiency, controls, as well as energy trading and risk management systems.
Matt transitioned to IT in 2014, where he has led teams responsible for ACES’ server infrastructure, network, telecommunications, cybersecurity, operational technology, IT compliance, applications, and a variety of other strategic initiatives. Matt has considerable expertise and knowledge in these areas, and has exhibited exceptional leadership during his tenure at ACES.
