The volumes referenced in section 3.1 of the RFP are accredited capacity.

GSEC would consider PV resources, including those paired with BESS provided it maintains accredited capacity levels offered for the specific product offered.

GSEC is not interested in taking on cost or tariff exposure that is not already included in the offer price.

Yes, but capacity levels offered must be maintained and eligible or accredited for the SPP Resource Adequacy Workbook.

Any load zone is eligible, but the product offered must meet the SPP Tariff requirements for that product.

No, GSEC does not currently have stand-alone storage.

We do not have a draft PPA or term sheet.

The preference is to have the battery price and energy price split, with the battery pricing provided in $/kW-mo and the energy price in $/MWh.

SPP’s protocols explicitly allow for situations where one Asset Owner sells power under a bilateral contract and registers the buyer’s load so that SPP reduces the buyer’s reported load and increases the seller’s reported load for must-offer calculation purposes. This could be a path forward for Firm Capacity.

Firm is preferred but Deliverable would be considered.
