AECC is not seeking proposals within SPP with this RFP.
AECC is not seeking energy-only proposals with this RFP.
AECC does not wish to interpret MISO rules, and AECC would recommend seeking guidance directly from MISO. Capacity-only resources are welcomed as outlined in section 3.1.7 of the RFP, Proposals for Winter Season Firm Capacity Only.
If MISO accredits ZRCs for the behind-the-meter generator, AECC welcomes a proposal as outlined in section 3.1.7 of the RFP, Proposals for Winter Season Firm Capacity Only.
AECC is willing to work with the proposing entity to understand which works best, understanding that any penalties for lack of performance would not be AECC’s responsibility under the PPA. If the proposal would be different based on a decision between BTMG or DR resource, please provide both.
AECC is not seeking specific siting near load pockets but rather is seeking projects within Arkansas or within MISO and electrically close to Arkansas.
AECC would consider ERIS if AECC is not expected to take on the costs and risks of receiving firm transmission service.
AECC would prefer the pricing to be based on ZRC.
AECC is not interested in a proposal without ZRCs. AECC understands that there is a process to convert from ERIS to NRIS. AECC would consider the proposal if AECC is not expected to take on the costs and risks of converting to NRIS.
