1803 Electric Cooperative, Inc. will consider all long term offers that fit 1803’s needs. As noted in section 2.3.1, interconnection status must be submitted as part of the submission, and this should include both the timing and nature of any future planned, in-study, or completed, interconnection requests. Interconnection risk will be considered as part of other project risks in the proposal evaluations.

Should a proposal(s) for distributed generation (DG) be selected from the RFP to move forward in negotiations, 1803 will work with the applicable Bidder.

Should a proposal(s) for distributed generation (DG) be selected from the RFP to move forward in negotiations, 1803 will work with the applicable Bidder. For clarity, this is an 1803 RFP and all questions and discussion shall be directed to 1803.

Interconnecting on a distribution circuit is possible and each proposal will be evaluated individually. Bidders of DG proposals should specify their assumptions with respect to conductor sizing for each proposal.

The minimum load of a station does not serve as a hard ceiling on DG project size.

This varies from 13.3kv to 34.5kv depending on location.

The requested information could be provided at the appropriate time for a proposal(s) selected from the RFP to move forward in negotiations.

In most cases, a load flow study of some degree will need to be performed when interconnecting DG projects. Determination of whether a load flow is required, and what depth of load flow is performed, will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Interconnection load flow studies will be billed to the developer.

Per Section 2.5 of the RFP, Bidders shall submit the total Proposal Submission Fee due for each proposal by the Proposal Submission Fee Payment Deadline in full in accordance with the instructions provided by the RFP Administrator, which will be provided following submission of a proposal(s) and include the necessary banking information and instructions for payment.
