Information Services

Leadership

The Information Services group is led by Chris Haas, Director of Information Services.

The Information Services group is responsible for implementing and supporting efficient, reliable, robust, and secure applications and processes for APM in support of Owners and Clients.  Some of the specific activities of the Information Services Group include:

  • Third-party software applications: research, selection, acquisition, configuration, testing, implementation, and support
  • Software development including nTier applications, thin client applications, system interfaces, standard and custom reports, messages, data extracts, automated processes, PLSQL and web services 
  • Systems requirements gathering and application mapping 
  • Business process development and documentation 
  • Development, documentation and monitoring of IT policies and procedures 
  • IT project management
  • Owner and Client IT consulting
  • Owner and Client systems integration with APM systems
  • Application Programming Interface (API) specification development
  • ISO/RTO market readiness support 

Network Services

The Network Services group is led by Brandon Robinson, Director of Network Services.

The Network Services group is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a reliable, robust, and secure server and network infrastructure - to support the operations of APM on behalf of its Owners and Clients.  Some of the specific activities of the Network Services Group include:

  • Maintain production, test and disaster recovery network of servers, databases and applications
  • Provide capacity planning, system and database implementations and daily operational support for APM’s network
  • Implement and maintain systems to capture real time communications to support Trading Control and Settlement Dispute activities
  • Develop, document, and monitor information technology policies and procedures
  • Information Technology project management
  • Client Information Technology consulting
  • Support communications between APM and Client networks for the exchange of operational and reporting data 

Security Administration

The Security Administration group is responsible for the secured digital certificate access to OATI market products as well as access to market ISO/RTO portals for APM’s Front Office personnel on behalf of our Owners and Clients.
