COPING WITH CHANGES IN WHOLESALE POWER MARKETS
Radical Market Changes
U.S. wholesale power markets have changed radically in the last decade.
Structured markets based on locational marginal pricing (LMP) have been implemented by the New York ISO, ISO New England, PJM, the Midwest ISO and the Southwest Power Pool (SPP). compressed.jpg)

APM Experience in Structured Markets (ISOs and RTOs)
At APM, the majority of our Owners and many of our Clients operate in structured markets, so we have years of daily operational and trading experience in PJM, the Midwest ISO, SPP, California and ERCOT. Also, we have successfully helped several of our Owners through the complex and time-sensitive process of being integrated into a structured market.
Congestion Analysis Capabilities
With a dedicated congestion analysis team using sophisticated modeling software, we are especially adept at understanding and making congestion management recommendations no matter what name congestion rights go by: ARRs (Auction Revenue Rights), FTRs (Financial Transmission Rights), TCRs (Transmission Congestion Rights) or CRRs (Congestion Revenue Rights).
