Energy Trading and Risk Management Services
ACES Power Marketing provides a broad suite of energy trading and risk management services to its 19 Owners (power supply cooperatives) and scores of energy industry participants. APM's focus is the power industry and power trading.
APM's Owners and Clients operate in every market region of the United States. Clients include:
- Cooperative utilities
- Investor-owned utilities
- Municipal utilities
- Public power agencies
- Independent power producers
- Renewable energy providers
- Industrial companies
- Banks and hedge funds
APM provides its services "as agent": we represent our Owners and Clients in the marketplace, working collaboratively to manage energy risk. APM itself does not buy or sell energy (this avoids conflicts of interest).
APM annually transacts several billion dollars on behalf of Owners and Clients, who have a collective portfolio of approximately 47,000 MW of load and 47,000 MW of resources.
